ThisIsSand?

Thisissand.com is a excellent site for people who are interested in a new take on Microsoft Paint. When you first start out, the colors are random, but by simply pressing C on the keyboard, you can choose any color you desire. Pastel, earth tones, etc.

Is it fun? No. Is it interesting? Yeah. This is yet another medium one can use to express themselves, and there have been quite a number of artworks that people have made with this that I find pretty awesome.

If you doubleclick the mouse, you can use the sand continuously. You know, in case your index finger gets tired of holding down the left mouse button.

This game is also available for the Iphone, I can't test it out to see if it is as good as the internet version, saying that I don't have an Iphone. But I do recommend this. It is free, and certainly gives you something to do if you are bored out of your mind.

Art.

Patio Chicken Burrito Review

Hey, Lucy here! I generally don't do reviews on food, but I'll make an exception for this case.

This burrito only cost me about 44 cents at Walmart, so I bought two chicken flavored ones. I guess I shouldn't expect to get my monies worth for 44 cents, and I didn't.

The flavor isn't really all that bad, nor is the size of the burrito. But it is filled with a form of chicken flavored goop. There is no physical substance inside of this burrito. No chinks of chicken, no slices of veggies, nothing. Just gunk.

I really would not recommend this product unless you simply don't like food in general. But if you are going to get any burrito at all, this one is definitely not going to be worth your time and money.

Anodyne Review

It was very cheap, so I decided to get it. A Whopping 3 dollars. I downloaded it, played it for awhile, and all through the game just one thought permeated my thoughts:

What is this game about? Introversion? Paranoid Schizophrenia? What? This game is so random! The characters are weird and even have a merchant you cannot buy anything from. You carry around a broom instead of a sword. You get boss battles with bosses that call you Ying instead of Young, and that you need to get along with people, and "I hope you enjoyed your stay!" The ending of game is... I know he is exploring a "dream world" according to Wikipedia, but... but...

The gameplay is a lot... and I mean a LOT like Zelda. I love it because all you need are 7 buttons. Left, right, up, down, A, B, and Pause. You only get a few upgrades to your weapon... a broom, and jumping shoes. You attack bats often, and goo's, so almost exactly like Zelda, just with no equipment, and a LOT of savepoints and teleporters.

You can use dust as a boat, but aside from that, the levels are all vastly unique. You go from regular to 8 bit graphics, a black and white city, an underworld, and the basic mountain and forest, etc. Many of the levels have annoying platforming in them, making them nearly impossible.

All of the enemies and bosses are simple, and you scarcely need to dodge for the boss fights. You lost most of your health from the annoying platform jumps and boobytraps. This game only takes about 5 hours, and that is if you die often and get lost. But it only took them about 8 months to make this game, so I shouldn't expect much longer. Even if it is short

I would recommend this game, simply because it IS fun to play. You'll be confused as fuck, but it is fun as fuck if you enjoy Zelda-esque games.

Does A Link Between Worlds Deserve a 10/10? (Spoilers)

This game received raving reviews. Many high-end critics gave it a 10/10, and called it the best Zelda game to come out for 13 years. I myself am a HUGE Zelda-geek and decided to get this game and try it out for myself. As a critic myself, I am likely to point out flaws in this game, and give it a score that I deem acceptable for such a game.

Is this game worthy of a 10/10? That's a pretty big standard to match up against. Especially when it's legacy, A Link to the Past, is almost always number 2 in most "Top Zelda games."

The Good:

This game does have many things that I do enjoy. The maps are very similar to the original A Link to the Past, but the levels are different, and feel new. Each one gives it's own array of challenges to the table, and although it is pretty simple, many of the levels are waaay too easy, and waay too short, but fun to navigate through. In fact, many of the puzzles are highly challenging, and were fun enough to figure out. The graphics, despite being childish for the character design, do an excellent work for the levels and towns in this game. Especially the dungeons, which have great effects and look about them. Also, the characters do have a lot of personality, which I like. Instead of most characters just doing drab replications, each one does have something unique that sets them apart from the other AI's.

You start off with the typical notion of link having a bad dream about the boss of the game. This is obviously a shout out to Ocarina of time. Actually, there are shout-outs of numerous previous Zelda titles in this one. Also, I love how many of the items in this game are used to new and interesting ways. Many puzzles cannot be completed unless you know to use your items outside of the typical format. Many things, like the Diving feature, actually do have a purpose in this game as opposed to simply a way to dodge attacks in ALTTP. You can dive down to obtain rupee's that you would otherwise not be able to obtain. And for what it's worth, the sword beam cuts a whole line of grass, like the magic boomerang did in the GBA version of ALTTP.

The music from the game is a wide selection of music that comes from both previous Zelda titles, as well as new music from this game. But most music that appears in this game is from a Link to the Past. Also, what I really love about this game, is that you can beat the dungeons in any order you see fit. There is no linear format. Beat them however you choose.

The Bad:

For a game constantly rated 10/10 by critics, it certainly has a LOT of issues.

The graphics are kinda childish, as if the game itself is trying to market itself to 6 year olds. But only in regards to the character models. I think they could have gone better with the characters, especially when they spent so much time on the beautiful level designs.

The save feature is annoying. It has to be one of the only Zelda games, apart from Majoras Mask, where you cannot just save wherever you please. Which although is annoying, and differs from the usual Zelda format, is not that much of an issue. But Ravio's shop can be. You have to rent items to get into and complete temples, instead of either buying some items, like you do in Links Awakening, or find them in the dungeon, like you do in every other game in the world. Although you do find some items inside levels, they
This is probably the last time you'll ever use that bow...
are mainly powerup items, like the Titan's Mitt. You do get to buy them later on, but it's kinda useless, as you never need the item after you've used it for a specific temple, useless you are using it for a specific cave randomly on the map. Also, the energy bar is kinda a cop out. Instead of running out of arrows, or bombs, etc, and have to find more, all you have to do is wait a few seconds for your energy bar to refill, which gets rid of a lot of the competitive aspects of this game.

My main issue so far is with the main villain, Yuga.
Red hair, green skin, dark clothing, dark magic.
and an affinity for princesses
Yuga is a person who looks like Ganondorf, but is extremely effeminate. In fact, I thought Yuga was a girl until I heard otherwise. But this isn't the issue, the issue I have is with her ability. She turns people into paintings... that's stupid. Oddly and cliche' enough, she turns Link into a painting, and the bracelet that you got earlier in the game just happens to be the bracelet that allows you to control that ability. Using this newfound ability, you can travel between the light and... oh wait.. Hyrule and "lo-rule" (smart one there, Nintendo) using conveniently placed cracks in the wall, which you can only get to if you have the power you're not supposed to have. It's a nice concept but... Lorule? Really?

I have to admit though, the concept is widely overused already in Zelda. You have:

1. Skyloft and The Surface from Skward Sword
2. The Minish World and The Human World from Minish Cap
3. The Dark World and The Light World from A Link to the Past
4. The Twilight Realm and the Light World from Twilight Princess
5. The Past and the Present from Oracle of Ages
6. The Future and the Present from Ocarina of Time

And apart from the first two, the last 4 on this list has two worlds that are identical to each other, just one is in a land of darkness, and one is in a land of light. And that is not including Oracle of Season's 4 different altering world maps. So although ALBW seems to pull it off well, the concept is already pretty overused. Especially without the topic of paintings coming into play.

Ugh, that's one thing I hated about the storyline of Okami as well, "Drawing shapes with a Wii-mote? Now needed for EVERY aspect of the game!" The same thing with the painting ability, it is used in too many aspects of the game. In Twilight Princess, you traveled around as the wolf, and got through many aspects of the game with it, but you didn't use that in EVERY level, and wasn't needed to get most of the secrets. The same thing with Skyward Sword, the bird was useful, but not dominant in the game.

Conclusion:

It, like all Zelda's before it, is a very fun and fascinating game. It retains, if not simply builds upon, the hack and slash adventure genre that makes up the Zelda franchise.

Despite being easy, it is very fun, and gives a lot to the player. Although it does not give too much to the player, because conflicts are resolved rather quickly, and the game only took me about 10 hours to beat, and I even got some extra's, including heart pieces, and a fully tempered sword. So it's not a very long game.

I personally would not give this game a 10/10. But since it was a good play, is in the Zelda franchise, and was pretty challenging, I'd give it an 8/10. It had lots of drawbacks, but all in all was a very good game.

Sims 3 Quckie Review

I remember playing the original Sims a loooong time ago. And besides the graphics, that is all that seems to have changed. You start off as a character of your creation, and you either buy a house or a plot of land, and work it from there.

You can earn money in other ways, such as painting, and prizes, but for the most part, you have to get a job to get quick and easy money. But as a result, that takes away a certain amount of your precious time each day. And time is fast as fuck in this game. Taking a bath? That takes an hour and a half. Gotta pee? 30 minute pee. sleeping? about 10 hours. Your Sims age as well, and can even die in this game, so every second really does count. And in this game, it does not feel as if you have much time at all to get things accomplished.

It is also kind of boring after awhile. The initial appeal is ok, but there is nothing to hook you into staying full term. At least, not unless this game really captivates you... and I don't see that happening with very many people.

This is only a blub though, I was not interested enough to play it for any more than 3 hours. But if you are interested in it, play it. I got this one from an Humble Bundle Origin a loong time ago.

Magicka Review

This game, despite what I initially thought, is not that much like Hammerwatch. It's has humor, characters from other well-known games, and you get to shock and burn villagers to death with no repercussions.

You have these spells, and you are able to mix and match to form different spells. From an attack with a single element to an attack with multiple elements. You can make fire lightening, and Healing fire, which heals you and burn you at the same time! You can charge your attacks and use them on others, or you can use them on yourself. You can murder yourself with a giant boulder if you are not careful. I have... done that twice now... And if you want to use no spells, you can use your staff to blast back enemies, OR you can use your mutherfukin gun!

You are a wizard, simply a wizard. no other classes, but you can change your robe type and robe color. It is 100% co-op compatible, and you can play in many different ways, from adventure, to saving other wizards trapped in a castle, to versus mode. Up to 4 people can play at one time.

You use your spells to help get through parts that will otherwise kill you. Like freezing water, and burning torches. This way, this game is a lot more puzzle based, and allows for at least a mild amount of thinking. You can't yet use your controller to play though, so it's entirely keyboard and mouse for now.

It's pretty awesome ^^ albeit a little (bad pun incoming) cheesy. The humor can be pretty bad at points, and the fact that Navi from OoT is following you around yelling Hey! Listen! every minute spouting useless information, it does have it's moments. But all-in-all. It's a pretty awesome game!

Odd Planet Review

Odd planet is a pretty weird game. In fact, it is basically a cop-out version of Limbo. Granted that this game does give credit to Limbo as a reference for their game, I still think that it is basically the same. You die the same way, but you don't think as much. In Limbo, you pull levers and activate traps, but in OP you only push some things, but mainly don't do much else. You jump, you collect some items, but the same is very short.

The fact that it has an "Episode 1" means that this is not the only game in the series to come out. But the gameplay is only about 20 minutes, and the ending drops off at a cliffhanger. She writes a letter, you see her face, ending. So many unanswered questions, and the game is too easy.

You can die tons of times, you have no life meter. This game, like Limbo, gives you tons of time to die to you can learn the right way to get past a part. This is a pretty fun part, but it can make one cocky. There are no repercussions to dying, so... why be careful?

While I think this game can be MUCH better, it isn't horrible. Mainly becaise Limbo wasn't terrible. But it will always be a cop-out version, in my opinion.

Recettear Demo Review

Recettear starts off as a pretty mild game. Your dad is gone off on an adventure and left you, a very young child, alone to fend for yourself. Instead of calling the social services, the town sends a fairy that tells you that your dad had a loan that he has to pay back, and since he is not present, the young child would have to pay it back for him.

Being a child, you have no clue how to do this. But then the fairy has an idea. Turn your house into an item shop, and sell random wares for money. You have to save up money in the coming weeks or you will not be able to make rent, and your house will be seized as collateral for the debt.... fun.

But this game is not ALL business. You can hire adventurers to do quests and obtain items for you, risking their lives, and you can then sell your items for money to help you buy merchandise, and pay back the ever increasing monthly debt. Things get harder as you go, with competition, and Capitalism, ho!!! It's like what would happen if you mixed Harvest Moon with Chantelise.

So, for this game, I'll give it a yayification.

Chantelise Review

This is the first ever game I really got into on Steam. I didn't think it was going to be all too good, but I was wrong.

You start off the story as a young girl named Elise, with her sister/partner named Chante.... Chante Elise... Chantelise. Despite the fact that the name of this game is...mediocre at best... I cannot deny that this game's name is in fact catchy. You are trying to find a witch because she apparently turned your sister into a fairy. That's basically the whole premise of the game, find this witch, and have her change Chante back to normal.

You have a blade, and your partner has magic. This game is a hack and slash game that allows you to use many skills to your advantage. But while this game is awesome, it is not an adventure game. It is very linear and the only secrets are hidden in every single room. The gameplay is pretty smooth, and the controls are easy enough to grasp.

The enemies when you first start out are very easy, and drop a lot of magic and gold. But as you get farther, the enemies get much, much harder, and many become hard to defeat without a particular type of magic. If you can lure an enemy off a ledge to it's death, the better off you'll be.

You can defeat enemies easier, and defend yourself more against magical or physical attacks, by equipping certain items. Many of which you can buy from the store, while others you can find in hidden chests along the way. This game has a LOT of room for error. When you die (and you WILL die), you keep all your money, so you can spend it on new armor and health upgrades. Which will make it so that you ca travel further before you die the next time.

All-in-all, this game is pretty appealing, and highly addictive. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to play a more casual game.

Black Tiger Review

Yes it does, yes, it, does. ;3
Oh My GOD! Wtf is this?! This game is pretty difficult, and I have a hard time understanding it at all. You jump, but you can barely control the jumps. I wound up falling into the same put 7 times while playing because I could not stop or slow down my jumps.

There are people that you save, and they either give you coins, or time. Idk what the coins are used for. Not the stone arrows, but no time to think about that! There is a fucking 2 minute timer to get to... place! You fight these baddies that take a long time to kill, and you are going to die in this game... a LOT!

But don't worry, if you suck as bad as I do, there is a surefire solution to that. Sissy Mode! I-I mean, "casual mode." Which I had to start playing just to find out what the hell was going on.

There are some old men that you save that start to sell you stuff. I save their life, and they are like "Sorry, still gotta pay up!" Nice old people, gotta love em.

The gameplay is basically you going through this castle, killing all these monsters, and dragons, with throwing knives and a whip. The sidescrolling hack and slash portion of this game reminds me a lot of Castlevania, with some Contra added in. Some parts will leave you upset, because as you get farther into the game, some platforms are nearly impossible to jump on. If it wern't for casual mode, I may not have even beaten this game. But don't let it fool you, even casual mode is pretty damn hard.

Who are you, Mystery Woman!?!?

In the end, you see him posing with a beautiful maiden. One that is never before mentioned or implied to in the game. But hey, it's an old arcade game, wha'd you expect?

Sola To Robo: First Thoughts

The game is pretty witty, I LOVE the reactions that poor Red has whenever something goes wrong. Or his cheeky expressions whenever he is acting full of himself. It's kinda like what you'd expect when watching an anime. This game is not the only one who has that kind of gameplay though. Atelier Iris is another game that plays like it could have become an anime. The openings for both, animated with a background of awesome sounding music, is just like that of the opening of a Japanese anime. Both also include floating villages... hmmm....

The controls are pretty simple, and the battles so far are easy enough.
Let's not forget the obvious product placement
You go through sidequests for people in order to get money, kinda like Mana Khemia. The graphics portrayal are pretty comical, it's hard to explain it any more than like that. Kinda like a manga, perhaps? But the 3 dimensional graphics part of it is pretty awesome. Also, you can customize the robot you ride, to make it stronger.

You find this mysterious boy, who doesn't like you due to your non-serious demeanor. But he apparently refuses to leave you alone, saying you are some being of destiny.

I'll tell you more about this game when I finish it. Until then, jya nei!

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Review: Part 2

Hello all! This is a continuation of my first installment, which can be read here.

The GBA version made several changes to it so that it'd be easier. You know, cause videogame players are IDIOTS! In the SNES version, when you get an item, you then have to search for ammunition or magic so you can use it, not in the GBA version. You get full magic or ammunition the moment you get the item. You know, because handicaps are obviously needed for this game.

Plus, you get to keep the shovel.... which you can use again later in the game for... nothing. Besides one or two spots that holds rupee's, there is nothing you need the shovel for. That is why, in the SNES version, the flute replaces the shovel. Hammers can now destroy rocks and bushes. The save screen in the SNES version made you quit every time you saved, the GBA allows you to save and continue. In fact, there are numerous changes from the old version to the new version, many of which are redundant and pointless.

When you are getting the Zora flippers, no one ever tells you how to get them. In fact, you don't even really need to get them before the second level in the dark world. And they cost 500 fucking rupee's! Why do Zora's sell flippers anyhow? They don't need them! But on well, Zelda Logic.

On the subject of tunics, the one's in ALTTP are not half bad, given their only ability is to heighten your defense. There is the green tunic, the red tunic, and the blue tunic... always the same tunic's.

This game actually had some secrets even I did not know, and that gives it an air of mystery along with the review. There is a sprite in the game coding for an enemy that ever appears in the game. Called the Cannon Soldier.  He has full AI, graphics, attacks, and recoil. But sadly, he never made it into the game.

Now back to the review. The heart pieces are relatively easy to hard to find, depending on where you look. Many are simply placed behind a wall that has a crack in it. Some areas of the map are made specifically with this in mind. Like the hole in the clump of bushes in the forest, and the well in Kakoriko Village. This game allows for a bit of exploration, but for the most part, there is very little to find outside of heart pieces by exploring. Besides the flute.

This game does not hold death properly! Your uncle dies, and so does the king, but... maybe not. Maybe they just passed out... or got held prisoner... outside of the fact that the game's own dialog is either a death scene, or you are told the king was "eliminated." But at the end, what happens? Everyone is alive again! Yay!

I will end off with one irksome thing, the title. A Link to the Past. A Link to the... Past? This game does not incorporate time travel! You go through the light in dark worlds like Twilight Princess and their Twilight World! The game makes you think that it has something to do with the past or future, and that's simply not true.

This game is awesome! It got me playing for days and days, and the levels are pretty fun to go through. I think I will always be a fan of this game, despite the irks. It will always be my favorite game ever.

What do you think?

Ittle Dew review

Hello all. I am Alex Turner, or more commonly known as Inuyuru, a contributor for Not Another Review Blog. This will be my first ever post, so please be gentle sempai. (That wasn't in bad taste right?) Moving on.

Ittle Dew is an adventure-RPG-omg available on Steam, the earthly embodiment of Jesus for pc gamers. You play as Ittle, a spunky, adventure seeking girl garbed in green, accompanied by Tippsie a drunken dog fairy, who is also maybe a woman, who gives you tips in the form of telling you how fucking stupid you are. It's like A Link to the Past as seen through the eyes of Robert DeNiro circa Taxi Driver. You find yourself on an island after drifting on a raft for what seems like days and instead of finding help, you grab a stick and raid a castle, so basically standard vidja game lore.

The story is pretty good in the sense that it's supposed to be ironic. You find a castle, you go inside, you make fun of stuff, you find some chests. All the while trying to find a way off the island, which some smelly pirate will give you if you find something in the castle, possibly wood. The chemistry between Ittle and absolutely ANYONE she comes across, is amazing. Even the monsters she comes across have a snark prepared for them, and watching the interaction between Ittle Wittle and the Tipper is hilarious, if a little grating sometimes. The dialogue is drenched in so much irony, you can put it on a plate and make it pass for a fancy dinner that makes fun of you as you eat it.

The gameplay for Mountain Dew is as I said, very similar to Link tootie Pass, a game I very much enjoy, and you enjoyed that, you're going to fall in love with Little Moo, faster than Van Gogh and anyone in direct proportion to how many ears he had left, compared to how many he was willing to cut off. Basically what I'm saying is, it's great. It's a heavily toned down version of  Link Cables for a Gameboy, in the sense that it gives you siginificantly less items. You only get 4, and you have to go to completely separate dungeons to get them AND you have to locate the chests with the money to buy from the store to get the opportunity to - wWAAAH!

Sometimes it's a bit frustrating. There are some puzzles based around how fast you can solve them and as I said, the game isn't above mocking your dumb ass, for not being very very clever. There are times where I got angry at Littlest Pet Shop, but anger is a motivator. I'd slam the enter key and yell my way through dungeons like a boss.

The art and animation is very well done, and lovely, and quite fitting for a game of this caliber. All in all, this is a great game and worth every penny. There's a lot to complain about, but the pros out weigh the cons. If you buy anything from Steam and want to scratch that adventure itch, Little Bear is the game for you.

Minecraft Review

Blurring the world
I enjoy this game from time to time. Unlike the numerous people on YouTube, like this person who created the Beetlejuice roller coaster, I simply played this game casually. I build houses, and I never use the multiplayer function, or at least not yet. But I have seen it played as multiplayer so often that I can review it based on that (My little brothers, older brother, half of my friends, and my boyfriend, are all fans of the game).

I love to build large houses , enourmously large houses that really have no reason despite the fact that I was bored. If I can become self sustaining, I will. My last world I played in, I had a wheat farm, in which I can make bread so I didn't die. It was like Farmville, just with more explosions. I learn new things about the game every time I play it. Such as the need for torches in your house so creepers don't appear right behind you.

That's basically the whole game. Mining, and Crafting. You mine the materials you need, and craft the items you desire, like pickaxes and swords. The better the materials used, the better the item that gets created. But all items have a certain amount of uses before they break. And so far, from weakest to strongest, there is wood, stone, iron, diamond, and gold. How diamond armor works, I haven't a damn clue...

Look at that lively expression
There are two modes you can play on as well, Creative, and Survival. Creative allows you to create large scale and fantastical structures without the fear of monsters. Also, you can levitate, which is awesome! Survival is where you are set out in the middle of nowhere and have to use the resources at hand to build a building for protection before the sun sets. Once the sun sets, you're screwed. Spiders, Endermen, Zombies, Creepers, you name it! And when you die, you lose it all!

Now personally, I can understand why the game is popular to a sense. You start out with nothing, and then gradually earn all you need to survive until you have everything. That's life, and it's a story arch that many people adore. In fact, I am even using it for one of my upcoming books! But to say that this game is over-rated would be an understatement. All one has to do is visit YouTube to see the various Minecraft parodies, originals, and song rip-offs. The amount of Minecraft fan-art is staggering as well, and it baffles me as to why.

This game has no good graphics, it's all just blocks. It has no storyline, no plot, no real ending (not including the one they made for it after the fact), and no payoff. Although I believe the game is fun, and enjoyable, I honestly don't believe it deserves the reputation at has. It's easy to bore of this game, and it reminds me so much of games like Farmville mixed with a sense of danger.

But that is just me, what do you think? Tell me in the comments below!

Triond Review

I actually owned a Triond account which I wrote on for about a year from 2010-early 2012. At this time, I was really just learning the basics of the internet, something I never really had the chance to do before the age of 18. I mainly used Triond to help me earn a small amount of cash, because otherwise I earned no income until I got my first job at the age of 20. I now own one again, because I can always earn a little more cash, even if it is a dollar a month.

Triond is a good site to go to in order to hone your skills as a writer. Sites like Gather, Bukisa, Triond, etc, which reward you for writing good articles, and are filled with people who will in fact correct your mistakes, will help any developing writer grow.

When writing on triond, you can write about anything. From science to poetry, you can publish it... to an extent. They do review your writings and twiddle out the horrid from the not half good. Writings that are bad that make it through this review process then has to go through a hoard of flag-happy enthusiast who get bonus' for flagging content that is not up to snuff. The end result is a wide array of mediocre to brilliant articles on so many topics, written by people who usually are trying to make a couple bucks.

You cannot post any unoriginal content on Triond. Even if it is from your own blog. But if you post it on Triond first, you can then post it on your other blog if you want to. You own all the rights to your work, just after you post it on Triond.

The sites that they post your work on are.... less than professional. In fact, they load the sites with ads so much that it takes the site longer to load. But as a result, you get about a penny, per 10 views. Most of the traffic you get you have to make yourself, but that is not always the case. Just a day after I uploaded my first article, I got 6 views, without even posting it to twitter or facebook.

This site will not make you rick, or get you quick money. It will get you pennies, sometimes only a few dollars a month, if that. But even a dollar a month is something extra, so if you are a writer, go for it.

Popular Song - MIKA

Umm... what did I just...?

Well, the video was awkward. It reminds me of a very cliche' movie. It must be a Disney show song, because Disney is literally that cliche. They are bullied by the popular kids, and as a result, they concoct a potion to turn them all into stone. Then, they smash them all to little bits with a dinner plate. Must have been some cheap stone. They stare at you the whole time too. With this look of eerie monotone apathy.

The song itself is pretty repetitive.

Popular, I know about popular It's not about who you are or your fancy car You're only ever who you were Popular, I know about popular And all that you have to do is be true to you That's all you ever need to know

The message is the same old message mentioned time and time before. You know, the one that never holds water.

Always on the lookout for someone to hate,Picking on me like a dinner plateYou hid during classes, and in betweenDunked me in the toilets, now it's you that cleans themYou tried to make me feel bad with the things you doIt ain't so funny when the joke's on youOoh, the joke's on youGot everyone laughing, got everyone clapping, asking,"How come you look so cool?"'Cause that's the only thing that I've learned at school, boy (uh huh)I said that that's the only thing that I've learned at school

In other words. If you are a bully, you will always grow up to be doing hard manual labor at a dead end job, while the bullied is the one succeeding at life. While this may happen in some cases, for the most part, many people who are popular are able to succeed in life better because they have more connections. You know, while they are jerks, popular kids have their own hopes, and dreams, and ambitions. So chances are, they do succeed. While the bullied kid may become depressed, and have self hatred because of being bullied. and not make it in life.

Although bullies are more likely to become criminals and wreck havoc, the amount of bullies who simply don't make it in life can't be numbered. They are probably slightly higher then people on average.

Standing on the field with your pretty pompomNow you're working at the movie selling popular corn

Popular... no. Just, no. Never again.

The tune is pretty catchy, but this song probably does not deserve 36 million views and 400,000 likes. I would give it a 2.5 stars out of 5.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Review

Not half bad, despite it being ungodly short. This was actually not a bad anime.

The anime, despite the opening, does not revolve around Madoka Kaname. Which is a pretty epic way to have the biggest main character be a character on the sidelines. The main character is actually Homura Akemi, who repeatedly goes back in time to try to prevent Kaname from dying so she can remain with her... reminds me of another twist ending plotline, oh right! Mirai Nikki!

The series is really dark. It involves love, but it also involves plenty of death, pain, and anguish. Mourning and scarred pasts are common. But in a good light, there is plenty of pubescent lesbianism in here, which makes it pretty awesome. Taboo and dark.

I love this anime both due to the dark feeling of the characters, and the magical abilities. The characters are able to fight witches due to the magical abilities they have gained by, basically selling their soul to alien lifeforms. The character development is pretty cool, and one of them even has fangs : 3

The ending was ok, if not kinda cliche'. She has the power and changes the entire universe, past, and future, because of it. That way nobody ever has to become a witch ever again. Kinda reminds me of... Mirai Nikki. This anime has a lot of correlations it seems. Person gains power to become ruler of space and time, and the other character fights to keep them in their memories despite everything.

I would recommend this anime to anyone who wants to watch it. Espessially those like me who like anime with a dark, macabre twist.

Ys Game Review

This game is actually rather fascinating. I bought it on Steam, hoping that it'd be a rather fascinating game, and I must admit, I was not disappointed. Yes, it did have some irks, but the fascinating storyline and battle system it came up made up for that in my opinion.

You start out as this guy who was passed found out and was taken care of by some people from the village. You later meet up with this fortune teller, and you promise to collect these books for her, because, you know, you have nothing else to do with your life.

The battle feature of this game is what I loved the most. All you have to do to to damage an enemy is run into them. If you run into them at an angle, you don't hurt yourself in the process! At first the enemies are hard, and no one ever seems to tell you that you should buy armor or weapons, so you have to find that out yourself, or else die because you can only harm 1 enemy without weapons, and you die rather quickly.

Which brings me to the first irk: NO ONE TELLS YOU WHAT TO DO! You literally have to talk to everyone, and explore every nook and crevice to find out what the hell you're supposed to be doing! Sometimes even that can leave you confused. Sometimes, the storyline can also be a little cliche', but if you can get over that, the game isn't that bad.

I liked the storyline, and the exploration wasn't all that horrible, although there is never much to find in this game. Altogether, I give it a 8 out of 10. Not bad. I'd recommend it.

Review: The Incredible Burt Wonderstein

Just watched this movie, not entirely sure I got my 9 bucks worth. But I'll give you a brief synopsis of what I did, and didn't, like of the movie.

Pro's.

1. They did good with some magic tricks, I was rather fascinated at watching them get to work. illusionment is something most people would find interesting.

2. It was funny! Kinda. It had parts that made me chuckle, and parts that made me cringe, gasp, and be bewildered.

Con's

1. Grotesque. It has a bit of gore, and pain in it. They show this, and amplify it tenfold for gasp-worthy responses. I personally don't mind grotesque, but the way it was portrayed was... SUPPOSED to be comedic... but I think it fell a little short of *chuckle+OMG!!!*

2. Predictable. You could see what was coming a mile away, not much of what happened was really a surprise besides the shock factor mentioned before.

Not a movie I would recommend, unless you want a first persons perspective. That said, the funny parts made it laughable, and the shock factor made you want to look away. Overall, I would say this movie was mildly entertaining. Giving it a 5 out of 10.
